About the time of Halloween funny things start to happen to all sorts of people. Secret identities come out to play in the shape of ghouls and ghosties and things that go ‘bump’ in the night! It’s a time when everyone can have a little fun with parties, costumes, decorations and of course, trick or treat. Halloween was, once upon a time, a fearful time when it was believed that the souls of the dead would roam and evil walked abroad. Now we aim to make Halloween funny for all the family.
One of my favourite Halloween traditions is bowls of steaming hot soup made from the pumpkins we have turned into lanterns. We tell stories that might be a little scary but they don’t take away from the fun.
